My congregation, Bridgewater Church, paid the fee to send one of our young men, Chad Garrison. He returned with a sense of appreciation for those in leadership, but also with a bit of confusion, since there are so many different ways to do this.

CBF Louisiana is small and our new church start budget is very modest at this time, although we are devoting our state missions offering entirely to new church starts.

I find myself envisioning cell groups in several towns along the Interstate 12 and 55 corrridors, which would be named "The Fellowship of Hammond," "The Fellowship of Baton Rouge," "The Fellowship of Lafayette," etc. Out of the many seeds sown, a few might take root. Of course, there is an obvious need for self-starters and entrepreneurs who feel called to begin a new work. Chad might be one of those.
